The USA BoP Learning Laboratory™ was founded in 2000 as the first BoP Learning Lab and hub of the growing international network of Learning Labs. It is managed by Cornell University’s Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise at the Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise in Ithaca, NY.

Programs
Working with its members and partners, the USA BoP Learning Lab™ sponsors:

• Meetings and workshops to facilitate knowledge sharing and mutual learning
• Cutting-edge applied research
• Case studies on important BoP business ventures
• “Real time” pilots with BoP Learning Lab™ members
• Partnerships with multiple stakeholders to catalyze new ventures

Membership
The USA BoP Learning Lab™ forum enables members to:

• Interact with thought leaders in BoP business creation, innovation and new market development
• Access a low-risk, innovative process for idea generation, information gathering and experimentation in the BoP
• Engage in collaborative projects with members sharing similar interests, supported by BoP Learning Lab™ staff
• Gain preferred access to student teams for conducting BoP practicum projects within their organizations
• Bring additional people from their organizations to meetings and workshops in order to elevate awareness and catalyze development of an internal network of BoP champions for projects and programs in this area
• Participate in a global network of Learning Labs and benefit from knowledge gleaned from around the world
